该酒是采用Swabian 野樱桃酿制的。该产区的野生的酸樱桃,在德国久负盛名,是非常著名的酸樱桃产区。它有一种特有的细腻的苦味,和传统酸樱桃味截然不同。16千克的野酸樱桃做成了0.7升的酸樱桃味酒。

The Swabian wild cherry – which we use for our sour cherry eau de vie – grows wild in the vineyards of Swabia and is known for its remarkable aroma of sour cherry. It has a delicately bitter note that does not smother the typically intensive cherry flavours. It takes 16 kg of sour cherries of to make 0.7l of Sauerkirschbrand.
